How to Change the Font and Size of Grid or Text Results in SSMS

This is a quick but useful tip, on how to change the font and size of Grid or Text Results in SSMS.

 

For changing the font and/or size of Grid results in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS):

Within SSMS, navigate to the “Tools” menu, then “Options”, “Fonts and Colors” and select to “Show settings for:” Grid Results

You can then change both font and size, as well some other options.

Note that, in order for your changes to take effect, you will need to save your open work and then restart SSMS.
